Group Trial Term
A quick hello from me
Â
If you would like to experience what it's like to get started whilst being gently supported and in a reassuring routine for five weeks alongside others - at a steady, human pace - you can explore that here.
A Gentle Welcome
If you’re here, it’s because you want to understand what the Group Trial Term is, how it works, and whether it feels like the right place for you to begin.
Â
This page gives you a calm, clear overview so you can make a grounded, confident decision.
What The Group Trial Term Is
The Group Trial Term is a five‑week introduction to the Group Journey.
Â
It gives you a steady, appointment‑based way to work through your Journey videos with a predictable weekly routine, without any long‑term commitment.
Â
During your Trial Term, you’ll have access to three weekly live Group sessions, and these appointments give the group a predictable routine.
Â
Group Members are encouraged to attend, because the routine works best when people show up consistently.
Â
When attendance becomes irregular, it can affect other Group Members who use the live sessions as part of their weekly routine.
Â
The three weekly live Group sessions are:
Â
-
Monday Social Gathering - a gentle way to start the week and reconnect with other Journey Members for a motivational boost
Â
-
Wednesday Group Session - where we work through the Journey videos together in a calm, guided way
Â
-
Friday Group Tutorial - where we reflect on the week, notice what helped, look at any challenges, and gather the learning to take into the following week
Â
You also have the option of a short weekly check‑in during Wednesday Surgery if you’d like a few minutes of guidance.
Weekly Live Group Sessions
A clear overview of the three weekly appointments, what each one involves, and the times they take place.
Â
During your Group Trial Term, you’ll be invited to three weekly online Group sessions.
Â
These appointments give the group a predictable routine, and many people find that having regular sessions makes it easier to return to their Journey videos, even on the weeks when it feels harder to begin.
Â
Monday Social Gathering - 1 hour
Â
A gentle way to start the week and reconnect with other Journey Members.
Â
Your camera will be on from the start. In the main group you’ll be muted, and then you’ll be placed into a small group of no more than four people, where you’ll be unmuted and able to talk together.
Â
You can wait for others to begin the conversation, and join when you feel ready.
Â
Wednesday Group Session - 3 hours
Â
This is the main session of the week, and it has three parts.
Â
- First Call (30–45 minutes): We meet on Zoom to look at how we’re getting on with our Journey videos, talk through anything that came up, and get focused and ready for watching and following our Journey videos.
Â
- Optional Wednesday Surgery (up to 10 minutes): After the first call, you can pop into Clare’s private Surgery if you need help getting unstuck or want clarity before you begin watching and following your Journey videos.Â
Â
- "Doing the Doing" (up to 2 hours): You follow the 30:10:2 rule, which means you watch and follow your Journey videos for a maximum of thirty minutes, then have a ten‑ or fifteen‑minute break, and repeat that pattern for a maximum of two hours. It’s how we manage the overwhelm, and if you need to stop after one video, that’s OK. One Journey video completed is progress.
Â
- Second Call (30 minutes): We come back together to share what we’ve done, talk through anything that came up, and gather the learning to take into the following week.
Â
Friday Group Tutorial - 1 hour
Â
A calm way to end the week. We look back at what helped, what was challenging, and what to take forward into the following week.

Hearing From People Already in the Group
It can be reassuring to hear from people who are already part of the Group Journey.
Â
These short videos simply show what the experience has been like for themÂ
Â
- in their own words, at their own pace.
Â
There’s no “right” way to relate to these.
Â
Just notice whether anything they say feels familiar or comforting.
Melody’s Experience (USA)
There is no expectation that your experience will look the same.
Â
Melody shares what it felt like to join the Group Journey from the United States, how she settled into the weekly routine, and what helped her feel comfortable showing up each week.Â
Â
Here experience is just one example.
Â
Your situation will be different, and that’s completely okay.
Chriss’s Experience (UK)
There is no expectation that your experience will look the same.
Â
Chriss talks about what the Group Journey has meant for her, how the sessions fit into her week, and what she found helpful about being in a group with others who are working through similar challenges.
Â
Again, this is simply one person’s experience.

What to Expect Emotionally and Practically

Because the Group Trial Term has weekly appointments...
Â
...you’ll naturally build a routine around attending, watching your Journey videos, and taking small steps between sessions.
Â
Your motivation will be like a wave as you move through the Journey.Â
Â
This is a normal part of the learning process.  Â
Â
The weekly appointments help you return to your Journey videos even on the weeks when it feels harder to begin, so you don’t lose momentum.
